This was held at the store in Bandra, Hill road. Godrej natures basket has a spacious basement which was converted into a workshop area.

The sessions were conducted by Amrita Kaur who is a Indore born Food blogger and also a social media celebrity. She taught the kids some really interesting recipes and it included the Rainbow Nice Cream, a no bake Mango Cheesecake Tart and a Rainbow Noodle Salad.
The kids were really interested and enthusiastic and it was really nice to see them learn at such a young age.
The workshop lasted for about 2 hours and each child got to take home what they had prepared. Chef Amrita Kaur with her charm involved al the kids into this interesting activity making it interesting for them while they learned somethingimg_20170524_170552


img_20170524_163442We really liked the No bake Mango Cheesecake You’ll can try it at home

 You need:
1 packet of Digestive Biscuits, crushed coarsely
Toasted nuts of your choice (almonds/walnuts/pistachio)
2-3 spoons of melted butter
1 pinch of cardamom powder
Pinch of salt
For the cheesecake:
1 cup cream
½ cup whipped cream
Fresh mango pulp + slices for garnish
2tsp caster sugar
Juice /zest of half a lemon
Pinch of cardamom powder
You need to:
Combine the crushed biscuits with the nuts, melted butter, cardamom powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Take a spoonful and press tightly on the bottom of the tart shell.
Blend cream cheese, whipped cream, mango purée, lemon juice and zest and cardamom powder and sugar using an electric mix or whisk until well combined. Top this cheesecake filling over the prepared tart crust and refrigerate.
