Recently we were down at Razzberry Rhinoceros, Juhu wherein Diageo Reserve World Class had announced Kevin Dias of Hakkasan as the Mumbai winner of its semi-finals that were held on 10th May. The event was held indoors wherein the bartenders displayed their talent, knowledge & skills to impress the judges. There were together 7 top mixologists from Mumbai’s leading hotels and bars such as Hakkasan, Aer Bar & Lounge and KOKO to compete for a spot among the top bartenders in India.
Later in the night they shifted the whole competition outdoors coupled with soothing music and the open air ambiance. Outside each bartender had their own space to serve the audience and impress them.
Kevin Dias’ specially crafted drinks, The Walk made with Johnnie Walker Platinum Label 18 and The Whale made with Ketel One Vodka, which included many home-made syrups and ingredients, led him to this win. Kevin has previously been a Diageo Reserve World Class India finalist and this time again he was able to impress the judges with his delectable cocktails.
We ourselves tried all the cocktails of the bartenders and were fond of Kevin and Harish Subramanian amongst all. Harish had made Bananas and Boisson.
After we grabbed abite of Spicy Salami, Tomato and Mozzarella Pizza.
